What happens if I can't make my repayments?

What is a commercial real estate loan?

Investopedia defines a commercial property loan as a mortgage secured by a lien on commercial property as opposed to a residential property. In the case of Sparrow Loans, we can provide financing for any type of commercial real estate in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane such as a factory, warehouse, office space or any income-producing real estate that is used for business purposes including offices, retail, hotels, and apartments.

Do I need a property valuation?

Yes, you will require a valuation from a valuer that is on our panel. Please let us know if you have already obtained a valuation from another valuer prior to applying for a loan with us. If we are able to utilise your existing valuer, we will do so.

Will you lend to a business that is not registered for GST?

Your business will need to be registered for GST in order to be an acceptable borrowing entity with Sparrow Loans.

What is the minimum term of the commercial property loan?

You can choose your minimum loan term to match the length of time that you require the loan. This can be as little as 1 month.

Do you lend against the property value or the valuation report?

We lend against the value of the property noted in the valuation report on an “As Is” basis as if the transaction were an arms-length transaction.
